Heat Pipe Technology, Inc. (HPT) is proud to add another product to their split passive HRM-V product line. This new product is intended to optimize the performance of systems, where supply and exhaust air streams are separated by a certain distance and on the same level.

HRM-V DSO

The remarkable design of the new HRM-V DSO helps improve energy recovery performance, by up to 20% to 35%, over older side-by-side (no offset) designs, and attain equal amounts of recovery, for both heating and cooling.

The dampers are controlled from a single heating/cooling changeover signal

Optimized performance is achieved by using integral face dampers, so as to direct flow through sections of the heat pipes and create an offset effect, thereby enhancing performance. The dampers are controlled from a single heating/cooling changeover signal that always keeps the condenser side (colder air stream) of the heat pipes higher than the evaporator.

Product certified to AHRI standard 1060

Moreover, and an industry first, Heat Pipe Technology, Inc. has acquired certification to AHRI standard 1060 for this product and the rest of the company’s HRM-V split passive line.

With the certification of this product line, HPT will have all of their energy recovery products certified to AHRI standard 1060, as well as ETL listed to UL standard 207 certifications.

These certifications will assure engineers, OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), and end users of the performance and safety of Heat Pipe Technology’s energy recovery products. Guide specifications have been modified online on the official website, to include reference to this new product and the AHRI standard 1060 certification.
