Lynx solution gets supply chain excellence award

The Lynx digital platform provides Carrier Corporation’s customers with enhanced visibility, increased connectivity

The Lynx solution, co-developed with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (Amazon/AWS), is an integrated suite of tools that is aimed at dramatically reducing food waste, increasing food security and helping better protect and preserve perishables.

The Lynx digital platform provides Carrier Corporation’s customers with enhanced visibility, increased connectivity and actionable intelligence, across their cold-chain operations, in order to improve how temperature-sensitive cargo, including food, medicine and vaccines, is moved worldwide.

Delivering temperature-controlled cargo efficiently

The Lynx solution can help deliver temperature-controlled cargo more efficiently, in turn decreasing the cost of cold-chain operations, by optimizing resource utilization and reducing cargo loss, and spoilage.

Alice DeBiasio, the Vice President and General Manager - Sensitech and Carrier Refrigeration Digital Solutions, said “Our Lynx ecosystem provides customers with capabilities for end-to-end tracking of cargo and real-time alerts about cargo and equipment conditions, which can greatly benefit the transport, food and pharmaceutical industries.

End-to-end tracking of cargo

Alice DeBiasio adds, “Lynx can positively impact people every day – helping to ensure food reaches tables worldwide in optimal condition and medications can be safely moved for patient use, and clinical trials, all while helping to alleviate global hunger and reduce the environmental and societal impacts of food waste.
