Rock Mineral Wool insulation solutions

I’m looking forward to working closely with our customers to develop Rock Mineral Wool insulation solutions"

He adds, “As the only manufacturer of both Rock and Glass Mineral Wool products, I believe Knauf Insulation is uniquely placed to provide the best solution for each application, and I’m looking forward to working closely with our customers to develop Rock Mineral Wool insulation solutions that meet their needs even further.

Rock Mineral Wool is especially well suited to applications where strength and resilience of the insulation itself are the priorities, and where there is a need for the best level of resistance to fire or high temperatures.

ECOSE Technology

Steve Smith, Head of Product Management and Business Intelligence at Knauf Insulation, said “Our Mineral Wool insulation solutions are already at the cutting edge of insulation performance. Over the years, we have brought to the market, the innovations that really matter, including ECOSE Technology, our revolutionary sustainable bio-based binder, is still a unique technology that sets us apart. It is 70% less energy intensive than traditional chemical-based binders, it avoids the use of petrochemicals, and it helps maintain the indoor air quality of buildings by releasing no harmful emissions.

Steve adds, “Luke’s proven track record puts him in good stead to understand further the needs and challenges of our customers as well as the industry, so we develop new solutions that deliver additional value and make the world a better place.
