The 13 MW offshore wind turbine developed by DEC has been rolled off the production line in Fuzhou, East China’s Fujian province on Feb 22, 2022.

Typhoon-proof wind turbine unit

The typhoon-proof unit is slated to annually generate 50 GWh of clean power, which meets the electricity demand of 25,000 three-member households a year, while cutting coal consumption by 15,000 tons and CO2 emissions by 38,000 tons.

The latest 13 MW wind turbines are expected to contribute to global green energy transit and the country’s carbon peak and neutrality goals.
