DriSteem Releases An ON-DEMAND Webinar For K-12 Schools

DRI-STEEM Corporation, the manufacturer of humidification, evaporative cooling, and water treatment products, announced that they are offering a free ON-DEMAND webinar that addresses the important role of humidity control in reducing airborne virus transmissions in K-12 schools. The webinar is presented by David Baird, DriSteem Senior Applications Manager.

Maintaining relative humidity levels 

The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way people do almost everything. It is not the first virus to threaten vulnerable populations like those in K-12 schools, and it certainly won’t be the last.

Studies show that maintaining the relative humidity level between 40 and 60% RH creates a healthier indoor environment, decreasing the amount and infectivity of viruses in the air, and resulting in fewer respiratory infections among building occupants.

Humidification systems 

“Now more than ever, we feel it is critical to offer this webinar to facility directors at the elementary and secondary education level to provide them a better understanding of the importance of humidification systems in school environments,” said Abby Rogers, Marketing Communications Associate at DriSteem.
