This year’s Sawston Community Fun Run & Walk event had to be rearranged as a Challenge event

Due to the social distancing restrictions in place owing to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation, this year’s Sawston Community Fun Run & Walk event had to be rearranged as a Challenge event, where 100 participants each committed themselves to raising at least £100.00 from their family and friends, by walking or running one of the two alternative normal routes.

Gerry Holloway, the Sawston Community Fun Run & Walk Event Coordinator commented, “With much disappointment around us we were pleased that our resilience paid off, but the real winners will be the 2020 beneficiaries who will receive funds at this difficult time.
