DEC Signs Baime Hydropower EPC Contract In Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

On November 4, 2020, DEC signed the EPC contract for the Baime Hydropower Project in Port Moresby, the capital city of Papua New Guinea.

This power plant will be constructed on the Baime river, which is located 11 km northeast of Bulolo. The work's scope includes the design, supply, civil, erection, testing, and commissioning of a hydropower plant on a turnkey basis. The project will benefit to the people and communities in the Lae district.
