Developed in cooperation with some expert customers, the Danfoss BIM Tool has been refined through extensive beta testing. It now contains a majority of the Hydronic HVAC product portfolio and will be expanded regularly.
They also included popular 'assembly products' BIM files, such as control valves and actuators merged into one assembly, to meet the preferences of MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) designers.
Two convenient ways
The BIM Tool offers two convenient ways to use it:
Plug-in Solution for Revit Users:
- Add BIM Tool to the Revit environment
- Find Danfoss products directly within Revit
- Drag and drop products into the BIM project file
- Intelligent filters between the BIM tool and Revit
- Create a Danfoss bill of quantity with one click
This can only be used by Revit software (the most commonly used BIM software globally) users.
Stand-alone Solution for all Users:
- Easily find Danfoss products in the tool
- Select the preferred or required version of the product
- Download the CAD/BIM file and/or corresponding technical datasheet.
This can be used by anybody, no special software is needed.
