Wolong Electric America, a pioneer in industrial motor and drive technology, is proud to highlight the EMR-Bulldozer Series, a ferrite-assisted synchronous reluctance integrated drive motor engineered for ultra-high efficiency, robust performance, and long-term reliability in harsh HVAC conditions.

With efficiency equivalent to IE5, the highest currently recognized international standard, the EMR-Bulldozer motors deliver outstanding power density and energy savings, making them ideal for demanding pump, fan, compressor, and conveyor applications in the HVAC industry.

EMR-Bulldozer features

EMR-Bulldozer features an integrated drive system that supports variable speed loads

The EMR-Bulldozer features an integrated drive system that supports variable speed loads across a wide operational range, from low speed to high rated speeds, and even offers an extended constant power control range above rated speed.

This flexibility enables precise speed regulation and accurate low-speed control, making the motors particularly suitable for environments that require strict performance standards and low noise operation.

Standard NEMA frames

The motors are available in standard NEMA frames (184T to 286T), with 4 or 6 pole options, horsepower ratings from 3 to 50 HP, and speeds of 1200 or 1800 RPM.

The EMR-Bulldozer operates at 480 V and is approved by UL, cUL, and CSA, ensuring compliance with North American safety standards.

Key advantages of the EMR-Bulldozer series

These motors are 3-5% more efficient than formal induction motor when operating at 25-100% load

One of the key advantages of the EMR-Bulldozer series is its efficiency. These motors are 3-5% more efficient than traditional induction motors when operating at 25-100% load in VFD applications, resulting in rapid energy cost payback.

The innovative rotor design, utilizing non-rare earth ferrite compound permanent magnets, reduces energy losses by 40% and lowers operational noise. This technology also ensures cooler running core, stator, and bearing temperatures, which extends the lifespan of the motor and reduces maintenance requirements.

EMR-Bulldozer motors

The motors are engineered for easy drop-in replacement in retrofit projects, matching the size of standard induction motors and eliminating the need for mechanical modifications.

The EMR-Bulldozer motors are built to withstand harsh industrial environments, featuring TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) and IP55 enclosures for dust and water resistance. They are rated for operation at altitudes up to 3300 feet and in ambient temperatures up to 60°C.

Integrated top-mount VFD with DFC control

The integrated top-mount VFD with DFC control enhances system reliability and longevity

The integrated top-mount VFD with DFC control enhances system reliability and longevity, while the near-unity power factor allows the use of smaller, more cost-effective VFDs by supplying reduced motor currents.

The motors also incorporate Class F non-hygroscopic and anti-fungus insulation, ensuring durability in demanding conditions.

Wolong Electric America’s EMR-Bulldozer series

With virtually no rotor losses, the EMR-Bulldozer delivers exceptional power density, often fitting into frames up to three sizes smaller than conventional IE2 motors. The EMR-Bulldozer provides up to twice the output of similarly sized induction motors, making them an efficient, high-performance solution for a wide range of HVAC applications.

Wolong Electric America’s EMR-Bulldozer series sets a new standard for efficiency, reliability, and versatility in industrial motor technology, providing a cost-effective and sustainable solution for modern HVAC operations.
