It further encourages employee engagement through volunteer tree planting activities to enhance air quality, increase oxygen generation, and alleviate extreme heat worldwide.
An impressive 1 million trees were planted in 2025 across vital ecosystems including Brazil's Amazon Rainforest, India's Cauvery River Basin, Kenyan farmlands, and Mexico's Monarch Butterfly habitat.
Advancing Energy Efficiency in Housing
Carrier has strengthened its partnership with Habitat for Humanity International by launching a new initiative that awards grants to bolster sustainable construction practices and provides in-person resilience strategy training for builders.
These efforts aim to construct homes that efficiently utilize energy and natural resources, are resilient against natural events, and offer improved indoor air quality through better ventilation, air filtration, and humidity management.
Carrier has contributed energy-efficient HVAC systems and Carrier Smart Thermostats to this cause, while employee volunteers participated in building homes globally.

Supporting Disaster Relief and Hunger Initiatives
Carrier has contributed over $2.5 million worth of indoor air purifiers to improve air quality for communities affected by California's historic wildfires. The company has also enhanced its support for hunger relief organizations, such as Feeding America and the European Food Banks Federation, focusing on the rescue of perishable food items for the network of food banks.
Carrier employees around the globe volunteered at food banks, aligning with the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste and beyond. Carrier remains committed to shaping a sustainable future, focusing on community enhancement one project and one person at a time.
