Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has introduced the new CO2 Service Checker designed for its CR Series of commercial refrigeration condensing units for cold chain applications.

The device can be used across all Panasonic CO2 models for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting, allowing the user quick and reliable access to data for the units.

Features

The key features of the service checker include:

  • Ability to read and record technical parameters such as pressures, the opening of expansion valves, and more.
  • Set new operating values.
  • 2D graph for a detailed analysis.
  • Monitoring alarm status.

Panasonic’s CR Series uses the natural refrigerant CO2 and includes units for commercial refrigeration offering energy savings, reliable performance, low noise levels, and low installation and service costs.

Device Manager software

The CO2 Service Checker consists of the physical USB-RS485 converter and DRX drivers provided by Panasonic, and the Device Manager software is available to download online.

DeviceManager is a Windows software used to manage and install the device. The software can be used to create and save parameter mapping and transfer it to and from the controller with a just few clicks.
