Nicotra Gebhardt launches a unique Hybrid Life Safety Fans for Basement Ventilation & Smokespill applications. This innovative series uses a Centrifugal Plug impeller mounted inside a Tube Axial Casing.

Not only does it offer better efficiency and lower noise compared to Conventional Tube Axial fans, but it also offers a compact installation as compared to Centrifugal Cabinet Fans. Hybrid Life Safety Fan can be ceiling hung or floor mounted, similar to Tube Axial Fans.

Hybrid Life Safety Fans

For lower noise applications, one has to currently use Inlet & Outlet Silencers along with Tube Axial Fans, which adds to pressure drop and still doesn’t address Break noise.

Alternatively one uses Centrifugal Cabinet fans, which are bulkier and need larger floor area. Hybrid Life Safety fans address both concerns, with higher efficiency and no additional pressure drop. Hybrid Life Safety Fans are rated for 300 deg/2 hours Fire rating, duly tested by TUV as per BS EN 12101-3:2015.
