The Hitachi Cooling & Heating brand has introduced its latest innovation, the airHome 800 HeatForce, a new line of wall-mounted HVAC systems designed for optimal efficiency in cold climates.
Suitable for modern residential settings, these systems are available in both single- and multi-split configurations. They combine contemporary design with air-quality enhancements, promising both style and performance.
Efficiency in Extreme Cold
The unit continues functioning even at –20°C, providing comfort through the coldest months
Utilizing the low-GWP R32 refrigerant, the airHome 800 HeatForce offers capacities ranging from 2.5 to 5kW, allowing it to deliver consistent heating and cooling while aiding in energy bill reductions.
With an impressive rating of A+++ for both heating and cooling, the system achieves a SEER of up to 9.50 and a SCOP of up to 5.20. Its ability to maintain efficient heating output at temperatures as low as –15°C, due to Constant Power technology, ensures reliability even in harsh winter conditions. The unit continues functioning even at –20°C, providing comfort through the coldest months.
Design and Air Quality Enhancement
The airHome 800 features a sleek design in brilliant white and sophisticated grey, designed to complement modern home interiors. Despite its aesthetic updates, the system retains signature air-treatment technologies associated with the Hitachi brand. FrostWash™ technology maintains the cleanliness of the heat exchanger through a cycle that includes heating, frosting, and defrosting.
Furthermore, the unit is equipped with the AQtiv-Ion ionizer to release negative ions that help eliminate pollutants, while an antivirus filter and Mold Guard feature work to sustain healthier indoor air, crucially minimizing mold build-up in damp conditions.
FrostWash™ and DuraSpin Features
FrostWash™ technology is also applied to the outdoor unit, supporting the new DuraSpin function
FrostWash™ technology is also applied to the outdoor unit, supporting the new DuraSpin function, which reverses the fan’s spin in cooling mode to clear accumulated dust.
Indoors, users benefit from ultra-low noise levels from just 21 dB(A), extensive airflow coverage, and an integrated motion sensor that dynamically adjusts temperature and power based on room occupancy.
Intuitive Smart Control
Equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, the airHome 800 system can be controlled remotely via the airCloud Go app on smartphones, tablets, or PCs. The system is also compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa, offering convenient voice command capabilities.
The smart geofencing feature ensures the unit automatically adapts to the user’s location, and the LED-backlit remote makes accessing essential settings—like temperature, fan speed, operating mode, and airflow direction—effortless and straightforward.
