The best gas furnaces run quietly and efficiently, producing reliable indoor comfort winter after winter. Loaded with high-performance features, the durable Goodman brand GCVC96 two-stage gas furnace provides up to 96 AFUE heating – continuously monitored with ComfortBridge, Goodman’s latest communicating technology. ComfortBridge off-the-wall communicating technology gathers data constantly, making automatic adjustments as needed, using the minimum energy required to create consistent, customized indoor heating.

single-stage thermostat

Securely mounted inside the indoor unit, ComfortBridge works with any single-stage thermostat. The CoolCloud phone/tablet app and onboard Bluetooth helps technicians stay connected for quick, accurate configuration and diagnostics. Inside, Goodman’s Aluminized Steel Tubular Primary Heat Exchanger – formed using wrinkle-bend technology – is designed to deliver extraordinary durability.

Paired with a stainless-steel secondary heat exchanger, this combination provides reliability and efficiency. Noise reduction features include a quiet, two-stage, induced-draft blower for precise control and enhanced energy-efficiency; a quiet, efficient variable-speed ECM circulator motor; and a thermally-insulated cabinet (air leakage <2 percent) that maximizes heat transfer efficiency, while lowering blower noise.

easy-to-install top venting

Convenient servicing features include a self-diagnostic control board with constant memory fault code history output to a triple seven-segment display; a durable silicon nitride igniter; easy-to-install top venting with optional side venting; convenient left or right connection for gas/electrical service; multiposition installation (downflow, horizontal left or right); and an airtight solid bottom or side return with easy-cut tabs for effortless removal in bottom airinlet applications. Like all Goodman HVAC products, the GCVC96 is designed, engineered and assembled in the United States.
