By expanding their cooling capacity, Toyo Seikan will utilize the innovative Frigel Multistage technology, which is designed to replace conventional chillers in processes that experience significant temperature fluctuations, such as food and beverage manufacturing.

Frigel's Multistage technology stands out by breaking down extensive temperature differences into incremental stages managed by a series of cascaded chillers.
The number of stages is customized based on the specific requirements of the process involved. Unlike standard solutions, this technology enables chillers to operate at a higher average evaporation temperature, thereby increasing their efficiency substantially.
Additionally, the cooling water is capable of replicating the temperature drop required for the product, which reduces the necessary flow rate and can lead to energy savings of up to 30% in total.
