The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) has announced a line-up of 19 client champions who will support the institute’s push to raise professional standards across the built environment. The initiative aims to help less experienced construction clients by curating and sharing best-practice digital resources that will help them achieve improved project outcomes.

The work is led by the CIOB client steering group (CSG), chaired by CIOB past president Mike Foy and supported by Linda Stevens, CIOB head of client development. The client champions are recognized for delivering excellence in their sectors and will help CIOB create resources that will benefit other clients, construction companies, end-users and society at large. CIC Chief Executive, Graham Watts OBE will be supporting this initiative as one of the 19 client champions.
