Baxi Heating is offering a new series of free online commercial product training sessions to enable installers to continue to develop their knowledge about the Andrews Water Heaters range of condensing water heaters and Potterton Commercial wall hung and floor standing high-efficiency boilers from the safety of their own home.

Mark Lovegrove, Commercial Training Manager at Baxi Heating, commented, “Our practical training courses have always been in high demand, but due to social distancing requirements we, unfortunately, can’t offer them in the same format at the present moment.”

So we’ve taken them online instead, and designed a series of live lockdown learning sessions intended to allow installers to build on their knowledge and skills in these difficult times.”

An expert trainer, Mark will be delivering the training via Microsoft Teams, using a combination of slides and video.

He continued, “We’re keeping each session to a maximum of eight people so that the personal touch will still be there. And being able to offer live training means there’ll be plenty of opportunities for participants to ask questions immediately.”

Contents of each session

Each session will cover the product range along with applications, installation requirements, commissioning, accessories, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting. An individual course will last approximately 90 minutes with at least four Question & Answer breakouts and ending with a quiz to assess understanding. Participants will all receive an electronic copy of the engineer’s training manual.

We’re excited to take our specialist product training online. Our goal is to support our installers as much as we can through this crisis. So we look forward to helping them further their knowledge with these lockdown learning sessions.”
