Arel Arsoy (Research and Development Manager, Untes) was recently elected as the new Vice-Chairman of the Eurovent Product Group ‘Rooftop Units’. Filip Konieczny (Ventilation and Air Conditioning Manager / Export Technical Specialist, FLOWAIR) remains the Chairman of the group.
Experience
Arel Arsoy has several years of experience in the Eurovent Product Groups ‘Air Handling Units’ and ‘Fan Coil Units’. He is also the Chairman of the Eurovent AHU Mirror Committee of our Turkish Member Association ISKID and manages three new rooftop development projects with different conceptional design features within Untes.
Mr. Arsoy stated: “I am honored to be elected for the Vice-Chairmanship of the Product Group and appreciate the trust that my colleagues have bestowed on me. This group needs synergy internally in order to make decisions and obtain results as fast as possible on issues we are dealing with. With my experience and knowledge in this field, I hope to be helpful in developing the group efficiently in technical and legislative terms.”
About Product Group ‘Rooftop Units’
The Eurovent Product Group ‘Rooftop Units’ covers air-to-air air conditioners and heat pumps driven by an electric compressor and engaged with European and national legislation, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/2281 with regard to Ecodesign requirements for air heating products, cooling products, high-temperature process chillers and fan coil units.
It is also concerned with the development of EN, ISO, and Eurovent standards and deals with the general promotion of the industry.
