High-performance IAQ system

Honeywell Home dehumidifier is a high-performance IAQ system with a tri-directional outlet for flexible

Developed to address the changing trends in home construction and HVAC system design, and with input from HVAC installers and distribution partners, the latest Honeywell Home dehumidifier is a high-performance IAQ system with a tri-directional outlet for flexible, fast professional installation.

It offers tight-space serviceability, easy access for filter changes and advanced diagnostics to help eliminate guesswork during a service call.

New Whole Home Dehumidifier

We completely reimagined what a dehumidifier could be. Our new Whole Home Dehumidifier was re-designed from the ground up to deliver the ultimate in performance, efficiency and quality and is backed by 150,000 hours of run-time testing,” said Pat Tessier, Vice President of Product Development for Honeywell Home and First Alert solutions at Resideo.

Our HVAC partners articulated a gap, and we delivered a solution that is built to last, flexible to install, easier to service, helps create more comfortable environments, and provides measurable energy savings.”

Features of the Honeywell Home Whole Home Dehumidifier

The top features of the Honeywell Home Whole Home Dehumidifier include:

  • Flexible installation: The revolutionary tri-directional outlet – with horizontal, vertical, and right-angle options – speeds up installation and is designed to integrate seamlessly into tight spaces like attics, closets, and existing HVAC ductwork.
  • Enhanced serviceability: Standard MERV 8 filters and major components are easily accessible, allowing contractors to replace any of the 19 individual components without needing to replace the entire unit. A magnet-mounted onboard controller allows the display to be custom-fitted for easier access in any configuration, simplifying commissioning, control and diagnostics.
  • Extended lifecycle: Engineered to perform in harsh, real-world conditions, the built-in temperature, humidity, and differential pressure sensors, located on inlet and outlet sides, actively optimize performance and extend product lifecycle. A water leak detection rope automatically shuts the unit off to avoid water damage.
  • Two-in-one solution: In addition to dehumidification, the 90- and 120-PPD models combine ventilation control for timed ventilation, damper management, and smart compressor activation based on outdoor air conditions.
  • Energy efficiency: The 90 pints-per-day (PPD) model offers industry-pioneering efficiency and the 65-PPD unit is the only product in its class with ENERGY STAR® certification.

Next wave of innovation for the brand

The Whole Home Dehumidifier helps protect homes from elevated levels of humidity and represents the next wave of innovation for our brand,” said Tessier.

Honeywell Home is already the number one most trusted thermostat brand, and our broader Honeywell Home portfolio will continue to elevate expectations to deliver enhanced comfort, smarter service tools, and top-notch quality that helps drive HVAC business growth.”

The Honeywell Home Whole Home Dehumidifier is available in 65-, 90-, and 120-PPD models at U.S. and Canadian distributors now.
