Trane, global provider of indoor comfort systems and services and a brand under the internationally renowned firm, Ingersoll Rand, has announced that it has acquired Arctic Chiller Group, a Canadian-based HVAC manufacturer that specializes in high efficiency air- and water-cooled magnetic bearing, modular, and process chillers for commercial HVAC and process cooling applications.

Facilities worldwide rely on Arctic Chiller Group products and services, including several prominent U.S. government facilities, and mission-critical sites including hospitals, military bases, major research hubs and data centers, and city water filtration systems.

Arctic Chiller Group operates from locations in Ontario, Canada, and Newberry, S.C. The Arctic Chiller Group acquisition is consistent with Trane’s focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. The value of this acquisition was not disclosed or material.
