Necessary Temperature Levels
Therefore, when it came time to update their air-conditioning system for their Treviso plant, they wanted a system that could guarantee the necessary temperature levels, while being as efficient as possible to reduce CO2 emissions.
The M&E consultant chose a Climaveneta branded free-cooling chiller, FX-FC/NG/T+ 2202 as free-cooling units capitalize on the energy of external air temperatures to cut operating costs and efficiently manage diverse building cooling requirements. With an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of 3.14 and a total free cooling temperature of 2°, the chiller pushes the limits of free-cooling technology. The unit was also supplied with the No Glycol option, which is an innovative solution with a heat exchanger and pump that allows the unit to work without glycol.
