For the second time since 2018, the company has been named Manufacturer of the Year in the medium-sized business category, acknowledging the significant contributions of major manufacturers to the region’s economy.

The company has reached over 85,000 vocational students through its “Head of the Class” Student Recognition Program, in collaboration with educators to honor promising students and entire graduating classes in the trades.
Malco maintains a culture focused on safety, holding continuous OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (MNSHARP) acknowledgment since 2004 and winning the Minnesota Safety Council’s Governor’s Safety Award 13 times in the past two decades.
Environmental Initiatives
In its efforts to reduce environmental impact, Malco is transitioning towards recyclable packaging with substantially less plastic. The move aims to minimize waste, conserve resources, and diminish its ecological footprint.
