Danfoss, a global pioneer in sustainable refrigeration solutions, announced the return of its Mobile Training Unit (MTU) to North America in 2025. The MTU provides hands-on training in transcritical sustainable refrigeration systems, helping original equipment manufacturers (OEM), contractors, and retailers achieve their sustainability goals and meet regulatory requirements.

Equipped with live systems and trainer stations, the MTU offers immersive experiences designed to build confidence and expertise. Training sessions are hosted directly at customer facilities, eliminating the cost and complexity of travel, while providing real-world learning environments.

Refrigeration industry

The refrigeration industry is at a tipping point,” said DJ Frye, Director of Sales for Food Retail, Danfoss Climate Solutions North America.

DJ Frye adds, “The demand for sustainable refrigeration expertise has never been higher, and Danfoss Sustainable Refrigeration Mobile Training Unit is one of the most effective ways to help our customers prepare. By delivering training where it’s needed most, we are enabling the industry to make the transition to sustainable refrigeration with confidence.”

Touring major regions

The MTU will tour major regions across the United States in Q4 2025, and Canada in Q1 2026, with stops hosted by major manufacturers, OEMs, contractors, and retailers – starting with the FMI Energy & Store Development Conference from October 6-9, 2025 in San Diego, California, USA.

Danfoss’ team of sustainable refrigeration experts will present live demonstrations at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 6, at the Town & Country Convention Center, just outside the registration foyer.
