On May 1st, Aeroseal opened its doors to the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, showcasing the cutting-edge technology at the Miamisburg, OH headquarters. The event provided a unique opportunity for local business pioneers to get an insider’s view of a company at the forefront of climate tech.

The visit began with a networking session, allowing members to connect over refreshments. Chamber President Chris Kershner opened the remarks, addressing the importance of maintaining a strong local business community and the importance of member tours.

Innovative air sealing technology

Kershner then handed the mic to Aeroseal CEO Amit Gupta who presented Aeroseal’s pivotal role in reducing the Earth’s carbon footprint through its innovative air sealing technology. He highlighted significant data points, such as the potential reduction of 13 gigatons of CO2 by 2050, emphasizing the commitment to making substantial environmental changes by reducing the amount of energy buildings use.

Following the presentation, attendees were divided into two groups for a detailed tour of the facilities. The first stop was the R&D department, where they discussed ongoing product enhancements crucial for the network of dealers across the globe. The importance of innovations, such as reducing equipment weight for easier transport, was a key focus.

Duct sealing and AeroBarrier systems

The tour also included a visit to the new manufacturing facility, operational since 2023, where they produce the duct sealing and AeroBarrier systems. This part of the tour illustrated the capabilities and the scale at which they operate.

The highlight for many was the live demonstration of the technology. Using the HSX box and a rigged duct system in the parking lot, they visually demonstrated the sealing process. Screens placed over duct holes captured the sealant as it filled the gaps, effectively showing how the technology works in real time.

Innovative technologies

Thank you for hosting us,” said Chris Kershner, President & CEO of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, adding “Witnessing Aeroseal’s innovative work firsthand was truly enlightening and thoroughly enjoyed by all our members. Your commitment to environmental solutions is remarkable, and Aeroseal is a valuable member of our local business community. We were all truly amazed by what we saw.”

The feedback from chamber members was overwhelmingly positive, underscoring the value of such direct engagements in understanding and appreciating innovative technologies. The event not only deepened the connection with the local business community, but also sparked interest among many attendees in applying the solutions to their own needs. They thank the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce and the fellow members for this opportunity.
