ECR International Inc. held an employee open house at its Dunkirk facility to commemorate the company’s 90th anniversary. The day included plant tours, a car show, corn-hole tournament, food, music and prizes. Nearly all 100 employees and family members attended along with the City of Dunkirk’s Mayor, Wilfred Rosas. Mayor Rosas congratulated company CEO Ron Passafaro on hitting the milestone.
The Mayor stated, “We appreciate companies like ECR who have made such a long-term commitment to the City of Dunkirk and its’ citizens and continue to do so”, noting the company’s recent investment in new CNC and laser machinery for its sheet metal operations on Middle Road.

The companies merged in 1999 as ECR International, taking the founder’s initials as its company name.
