Danfoss’ refrigeration HECUs meet strict design qualification requirements for the incentive programs implemented by Energy Solutions on behalf of the sponsors of Mass Save® and National Grid Rhode Island. The incentives take the form of rebates issued at the time of the HECUs’ sale. The HECUs are available via MARS, Danfoss master distributor, to their participating distributors/wholesalers.

These incentive programs are great for all involved: contractors will save on component costs, end-users will save on their energy bill, wholesalers will be able to increase sales by advertising the savings from the rebate program, utilities will be able to reduce load demand, and everyone who participates will be able to provide an efficient solution, reduce energy consumption, and do something good for the environment.

We are happy to participate in this incentive program and support state initiatives that align with our own focus of efficiency and sustainability,” says Joel Eggart, Wholesale Director, Danfoss North America.
