ZIEHL-ABEGG ZAbluefin Bionic High‑Efficiency Centrifugal Fan

ZAbluefin is a next-generation centrifugal impeller with five backward-curved blades, available in steel, aluminium, or ZAmid® composite. Its design features biomimetic 3D profiling, twisted blade geometry, and serrated trailing edges to enable high system efficiency and low sound levels, especially when used with a rotating diffuser.

Material Versions & Specs:

• ZAmid® (250–560 mm): For ECblue (IE5) motors; up to 19,000 m³/h, 1,800 Pa.
• Aluminium (315–630 mm): Suited for hygiene/fire safety; up to 20,000 m³/h, 2,000 Pa.
• Steel (250–1,120 mm): Powder-coated; hub options available; up to 80,000 m³/h, 2,100 Pa.

Motor Technologies:

ECblue (IE5), PMblue, AMblue (with integrated controllers), and AC motors (IE3/IE4).

Explosion-Protected Version:

• Available in 12 sizes (280–1,000 mm) with conductive powder coating, five backward-curved blades.
• Certified for Zone 1/2 (ATEX/IECEx).
• Operates in ambient temperatures from -20 to +60 °C with impeller temperatures up to +80 °C.
• Equipped with internal AC motors and compliant with EPL Gb/Gc, Ex db/db eb, and Ex h protections.
