Event Overview:

Smart Data for Energy Summit 2025

The 3rd Annual Smart Data for Energy Summit is a senior-level educational and networking Summit, designed as a highly interactive forum that provides an interchange of in-depth knowledge, and serves as a catalyst for collaboration across large built environments that share the common goal of utilizing smart, data-driven capabilities to support energy optimization goals throughout the planning, design, build, retrofit, management, and daily operations and maintenance phases.

These sectors include:

  • Higher Education Campuses, Hospitals & Healthcare Systems, Federal Facilities, and Large Commercial Campuses

The agenda dedicates panels to both the owner and operator perspective and to leading industry, researchers, and innovators in the “smart” data field.

For many of these sectors, they are at the beginning or intermediate phase of their smart data journey. Speakers and attendees will engage in frank interactive dialogues in order to spark new ideas and help develop strategic pathways for “Moving Towards Smart, Energy Efficient and Optimized Campuses and Facilities”.

Further, this multi-sector, multi-subject matter expertise focused summit will help enhance cross sector collaboration while expanding professional networks for future information sharing among all participants.

Complimentary registration for building owners and operators is now open for a limited time. Register before September 12th to reserve your seat at no cost.

Topics to be covered:

  • Establishing the end goals and challenges for facilities and campuses' energy ecosystems. What are the desired outcomes that owners /operators are trying to achieve?
  • Capabilities and insight owners and operators want to gain from advanced data-driven technologies to support the capital planning, build / retrofit, management, and daily O&M phases of their buildings’ energy footprint
  • Deciphering what levels of “AI” are actually available today to support energy optimized buildings
  • Strategies for integrating an AI capability into your BMS
  • How advanced data-driven tools can be applied in the early design, engineering and construction phases and carried through the entire project delivery
  • Emerging technical capabilities and themes across the smart buildings vendor landscape and how to evolve the customer / product development process
  • Cyber-physical safety disciplines for a digitally connected IT /OT built environment
  • Integrating building science and data science to improve energy optimization
